Prêt A Manger are one of the countries leading sandwich shop chains with an envious reputation for high class foods. They contacted Waspy with an idea to build a car which would duplicate the new cardboard sandwich box which they had just patented. Armed with a few rough sketches he went away and designed the vehicle.
The result was a twelve foot long and twelve foot high sandwich box based on a 1300cc Mini complete with pop-up headlights, rear access door and of course a mind blowing sound system. The finished vehicle complete with tax and a new MOT was delivered to London where the art work was done. Now in use at various locations being used for advertising and promotional work.
